RESOURCES
Architectural Photography Resources, Lightroom Workflows & Scotland Location Guides | Jim Scott
These guides offer an insight into my personal approach to architectural photography — the techniques, workflows and knowledge I've built up over time. They're not intended as the definitive word on any subject, as there are always multiple ways to reach the same outcome, but I hope they'll either teach you something new or reinforce what you already know. All guides are free to read online or download. Nothing here is sponsored — any gear or software mentioned is purely from my own purchases.
How To Guides
Free downloadable PDF guides covering post-processing workflows for architectural photography.
Architecture Locations
These maps have been created to provide the locations of where I have captured my architectural images. Clicking on a pin will provide details of where I established my composition with the approximate position marked which can be viewed on Google Maps.
I have also provided information in relation to the particular lens and the focal length I used along with some additional comments that is relevant for each location. Hopefully these will be of assistance for any pre-planning approaches you take in relation to your own photography and will be updated on an ongoing basis.
